• Acronym: IEEE 802.15.4 SDR with USRP
  • Short description:  IEEE 802.15.4 standard compliant SDR with full communication stack. The MAC layer is running on MicroBlaze and the PHY is implemented by LabVIEW FPGA. The framework allows run-time MAC update and parametric PHY configuration.
  • Main features:
    • The PHY layer is simplified by LabVIEW graphical programming
    • Modular hardware/software realization of standard components
    • FPGA-based implementation of MAC and PHY to allow low-latency applications and real-time experimentation
  • Conceptual figure:
